Anna Claessen graduated with a B.A. degree in Media Communication from Webster University Vienna.
Next to her studies, she did an internship at Sagafilm, an Icelandic Film Production Company, wrote and edited articles for The Vienna Review, Pressan, and Vísir.is, one of the most popular news sites in Iceland. 

Anna has been dancing since age 4, competing in Ballroom/Latin dances until teenage years when she switched to jazz and ballet. At age 16 she started teaching dance around the world.

At 25, Anna moved to Hollywood and received an Associates of Arts in Vocal Performance from Musicians Institute. While in LA, Anna was the CEO and host of the popular entertainment podcast Entertainment Drive-Thru, www.entertainmentdrivethru.com , sang at teh House of Blues, taught zumba at LA Fitness and acted in the hit TV series "How to get away with murder"among other things

Now Anna is the host of Dans og Kúltúr, which explores the dance scene in Iceland and abroad (www.dansogkultur). Dans og Kúltúr organizes dance trips and their dance group has regular dance shows in Iceland and performs at special events. She also teaches Zumba, Jallabina and Beyonce at World Class and Kramhúsið. In her freetime she acts. She has been in TV series Trapped (Ófærð), Blindspot, Valhalla Murders, as well as commercials. 

Anna is also a Coach , with websites Brighten Your Day (www.facebook.com/bydonline) and its icelandic version Godan Daginn (www.facebook.com/godandaginn.is) which publishes positive quotes and videos. 

With writing, performing and coaching she hopes to make the world a better place
